Steamed Potatoes/Pommes Vapeur

STEAMED POTATOES/POMMES VAPEUR

 

Serves 2-4

  • 1 lb (450 g) potatoes

  • 2 oz (50 g) unsalted butter

  1. Bring 2 ins (5 cm) water to the boil.

  2. Insert the steamer and the washed or, if necessary, peeled potatoes.

  3. Do not season. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and check if they're done after 30 minutes if the potatoes are an average medium size, less if they are small and new. Serve with the butter.
