How to Choose Kale Greens |

Selection:
No matter which kind of kale you choose,
pick the brightest, most vibrantly colored leaves available, the leaves
should be crisp, with stems that are not the least limp or wilted.
Avoid leave that are brown around the edges, are yellowed (unless you
are buying flowering kale), or have rusty-colored stem ends – which
would indicate they are less than garden fresh. |
