Preparation:
Canned hominy requires little preparation
before using. I believe it should be well drained in a sieve and rinsed
thoroughly in cold water. I do not like the strong flavor of un-rinsed
hominy, and occasionally un-rinsed hominy will make the milk in a
recipe curdle.
