How to Store and Prepare Tomatillos

Storage and preparation:


Before prepare for the green salsa recipes, store tomatillos, unwashed, in a small paper bag in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator for up to three weeks. Do not put this types of greens in a plastic bag, or they will suffer from the effects of condensation and begin to spoil.


Tomatillos need little preparation. Remove the husk, wash well, cut out the stem, and they are ready to slice, dice, or mince, depending on the simple vegetable recipes.
