How to Cook Leeks Vegetables |

Boiled Leeks
Whole trimmed leeks can be boiled or
braised in water to cover for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the
thickness of the leek. Test after 20 minutes with the point of a sharp
knife to see if they are tender. The leeks should be easily cut but not
falling into a mush. Serve hot or at room temperature, seasoned with
salt and pepper and perhaps a drizzle of olive oil or vinaigrette
dressing.
