Fried Zucchini
Substitute these for regular French fries
(which originated in Belgium, by the way) and pile them on the plate
with hamburgers, hoot long hot dogs, or a thick grilled sirloin steak.
Or serve this simple fried types of greens zucchini cooking recipes as

Makes 6 to 8 servings
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tablespoons seasoned pepper
½ teaspoon salt
2 pounds smallest types of greens zucchini, trimmed and cut lengthwise
into wedges
Oil for deep frying
Mix the flour, pepper and salt in a small plastic bag. Shake the
zucchini wedges in the flour
Heat the oil in a deep fat fryer to 375 F.
Fry the zucchini wedges, a few at a time,
until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes per batch. Remove the zucchini from
the hot oil with a slotted spoon. Drain on paper towels and season with
salt if needed.
